BerlinHello, we're Hanne and Maxime.
In the Easter Holiday we went to Berlin with a big part of the sixth grade. On the left, you can see a short video of a few friends of us in Berlin. As you can see, we had a lot of fun. We also took a lot of pictures and we want to show you guys some of them. |
OLYMPIA STADION On the left you can see a group picture in front of the Olympia stadion. On the picture on the right you can see the inside of the stadion. It was very big and imposing. BERLIN BY BIKE On our first day we made a tour through Berlin by bike. In the way we already saw the biggest part of Berlin in about 2-3 hours. It was a lot of fun and the weather was good. JEWISH MUSEUM We also visited the Jewish museum. We were all impressed. It was very quiet in there and even a little bit scary. We learned a lot of things we didn't know yet. On the left picture you can see an artwork where there were faces of steel on the ground. We could even walk on it. On the right you can get a glimp of the abstract structure of the museum. PHOTO BOOTHS On this picture (left) you can see something typical from Berlin : photo booths. Maxime and I (Hanne) went taking some pictures in one of them. ALEXANDERPLATZ On the picture on the right we are standing on Alexanderplatz. This square is right in the middle of Berlin. In the back you can see the 'Fernsehturm'. This is the second tallest tower of Europe! GRAFITTI TOUR On the left side you can see our tour guide in front of some artworks in Berlin. Teh guide let us see all the interesting places where we could see some amazing streetart. They explained us the different types of art. He was very inspiring and in the afternoon we were able to do it ourselves. On the right side you can see a portrait of Angela Merkel, made by one of our friends. GENERATOR On the left side you can see three of our friends, Jolien, Sophie and Maxim. We were in the Generator, it was a very nice, cozy pub. We drank some cocktails overthere. My (Hanne) favourite cocktail is a piña colada or a sex on the beach. BERLINER DOM On the right : It's the biggest cathedral of Berlin. In front of it there is a huge grass court. It was pretty warm, so we just sat on the grass for half an hour. EAST SIDE GALLERY In the evening we went to East Side Gallery. It is one of the only parts still remaining from the Berlin Wall. Other parts were destroyed at the end of the Cold War. The remaining parts are painted by a lot of different artists with each their nationality. |

Hello, I’m Jakob and I went together with the other part of our year to Piëmonte in Italy. We made long hikes in the mountains, we visited Milan and Turin, we went to the wine- and ricefields,… Like you can read we also did a lot. Underneath you can see some pictures from the carmuseum in Turin (Of the car you see, there are only 7 of them made and they cost 3,4 million Euro), San Siro (the footballstadium of AC and Inter Milan), a panoramaview at the back of our hotel and the Scala in Milan
